Associate Professor of History Robin Mitchell, PhD, is doing presentations about her book to undergraduates at Trinity College, Oxford and another more formal talk to the University of Oxford in Great Britain. Mitchell’s book Vénus Noire: Black Women and Colonial Fantasies in Nineteenth-century France earned her a spot among scholars of color all over the world, nominated by her Oxford fellows.
