I chose Gamma Phi Beta because during recruitment I felt a very strong bond with the other sisters, and absolutely loved what this sorority stands for which is Building Strong Girls. Major Criminal Justice Fun Fact My favorite plant is the Orchid I felt a strong connection to my sisters and wanted to create long lasting memories with them. Major Psychology Fun Fact I love to sing even though I’m not that good at it, and I love traveling! I chose Gamma Phi because during recruitment they always made me smile. I felt like I was already a sister to them the minute we all started talking. Something in my heart told me, ‘This is where you’re supposed to be.’ Sure enough! I love these girls to the crescent moon and back and I wouldn’t change a thing about my decision. Major Psychology Fun fact I loveee going out to try new foods! I love our philanthropy about empowering women! In today's society women should unite and bring each other up rather than bring one another down which is exactly what I saw with the sisters at Gamma Phi Beta. Rise and shine! It's another #NewMoonMonday! Meet Jenny Hurtado, Kim Athie, Alondra Navarro, Cinthya Radillo, and Kenlee Calvin! ... Major Nursing Fun fact I hate the word colonel I wanted to surround myself with a sisterhood who builds each other up and empowers us to be the best version of ourselves. I immediately felt the love and welcoming vibes during recruitment and knew I had found my home. Major Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice Fun fact - I love to spend time with my family, boyfriend & 4 fur babies! I could feel the connection to Gamma Phi & love what they stand for in building strong women! Major Bio-Chemistry Fun Fact I love to go shopping! The girls at Gamma Phi Beta made me feel at home. They welcomed me, they got to know me on a personal level and that’s what caught my attention. I bonded with the girls and I feel as if these connections will last a life time. Major Child, Adolescence, and Family Studies Fun Fact Before CSUB, I went to school for Ultrasound Tech/Sonography! All the ladies are so welcoming and friendly, and are all about empowering women! Major - Pre-health Fun Fact - I love to go on hikes! Talking with each sister during recruitment, I felt so welcomed and loved. During the breaks in between recruitment, I would see how the sisters interacted with each other and I instantly knew that this is the sisterhood I want to be in.
