My final post for the day includes my process for my ‘Conflict Theory Study’ print. This set of pictures is a documentation of developing the key image for this piece along with the final printed version. This also concludes my instagram takeover! I hope you enjoyed taking a look at my workspace and content. Stay tuned for more BFA students throughout the month and take care of one another! <3 @freakanoodle [Image Description] Close up of a screenprint showing a scrawny devil... hand placing a dollar bill on a doctor’s shoulder. Hello there, my name is Kristy Moreno and I am a BFA Studio Arts major here at CSU Chico with an emphasis in ceramics. I am originally from Southern California and I transferred to Chico State in Fall of 2018. I am currently living off campus with my three dogs and in my spare time I enjoy taking photographs, listening to Ghost of a Podcast and listening to records ^,^ * Today I will be sharing some sneak peeks of my current body of work which will be included in my BFA show... that is set to take place ~virtually~ from December 8th through December 10th. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have and I will be happy to answer. You can find more of my work at kristymorenoart.weebly.com and on IG @freakanoodle <3 * [Image Description] 1.Close up picture of terracotta cup decorated with an image of a woman along with white slip and black underglaze and added highlighted text that reads Kristy Moreno, BFA Ceramics, Instagram Takeover, @freakanoodle 2. This semester has looked different, we are normally running around the department with a camera capturing all of our classes, studios, and students hard at work. One of our big events every year is Open Studios, we open up our spaces and let everyone in to view what our BFA students are working on. This year, from home, our students are still hard at work. They have maneuvered how and where they are creating their pieces. In November we will be welcoming you into their spa...ces and letting you see what they are currently working on. We encourage you to engage and start following these artists. . . . @csuchicoartdept @csuchicohfa #chicocalifornia #chicoca #chicostate #chicostateart #chicoart #csuchicoartdepartment #csuchicoartdept #csuchico #csuchicohfa #ceramics #photography #digitalmedia #drawing #painting #printmaking #sculpture See more
