Squeezing in some ballet at the beach while my kids play on the playground (out of frame to my right). It’s been funny that my body has been craving ballet barre lately as it’s not my usual go to. I find myself doing tends and pliés at many a masked play dates. It’s bare-bones and low-key, but it’s what I e got these days. Can’t wait to get back onto the CSM Dance studio! Vaccine! Come my way soon please!

Rest in POWER. As I grieve the loss of this amazing leader I recognize that my feelings are much more complex than simple mourning. Make sure to get out there and VOTE this election! We need to stand strong just like Ruth to uphold the America that she dreamed of.

| BALLET BABY | #throwbackthursday to my first ballet test at @sanjuandance. I think I was in 2nd grade. I was SOOOO excited! I was seriously in love with this dress and could not believe that I was lucky enough to wear it... the color, ahhhh... it was everything ! I even got to sew ribbons onto my ballet flat shoes and tie them up my ankles. It was so special . We had worked hard in class to prepare for all the things we would perform and I could not wait to sho...w it all off. It is a day I’ll never forget.
