I just finished the course I've been working on for the last month! I'm now a Certified Fairyologist :D This was a fun one! ...I really enjoyed this and recommend it to anyone who's interested in the concept of studying faeries and getting certified as an expert in the subject. Battling #Fear and #Anxiety Anxiety is a disturbed mental state in which our mind doesn't stay focused. Our attention is distracted with too many things to thin...k about something happening in our mind. A Mother of a toddler might be anxious about the behavioural problems exhibited by the child. A person who just lost his/her job might be anxious about how to make loan payments, meet the needs of the family, the prospect of getting another job immediately etc. We all experience Anxiety in one form or the other on any given day. Anxiety produces another by-product called FEAR which results in psychosis. Fear resulting out of Anxiety makes any person, more so a Christian to loose focus in life in all spheres of life - Spiritual, Emotional and Physical. Anxiety never allows us to trust in God and have faith in His promises to protect us, provide for us and to lead us. Anxiety will never allow us to expect for Miracles from God of Miracles rather it will make us to do things on our own strength. That's why Paul said - "Be Anxious for Nothing" Philippians 4:6 Charles Spurgeon said "Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength". As long as Anxiety rules our heart we will not be able to move out in faith, eagerly expect for a miracle from God and place our cause of concern safely into God's hand. The first step in fighting Anxiety is to determine in heart "I AM NOT GOING TO SIT AND BROOD ON THIS HOPELESS SITUATION" rather I am going to "TRUST GOD, PLACE MY CARE INTO HIS HANDS, SEE HIM WORK A MIRACLE". With you and me the possibilities for a miracle are too few as it depends on our abilities. However with God all things are possible as it depends on His abilities. No one has ever known the unfanthomable depths of His abilities. Remember if Jesus could bring Lazarus back to life after being kept in the grave for three days, how much He is able to deliver you from your hopeless situation. Anxiety can be battled only by trusting God and His promises. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippines 4:6-7. May the God of peace and the peace of God guard your hearts and rule your minds.
