It's opening day AND it's a celebration day! Crucial Kitchen won't be there this season, but I'm sure there's plenty of new, yummy things (including local veggies) to tempt your palate! Making a grain-free/gluten-free/chocolate-free birthday cake today for a special order. What I love about cooking with grain-free flours is not only that they’re naturally low in carbs, high in fiber and less inflammatory. As you can see, they have a wonderful amount of protein because gluten is missing to bind the ingredients. This cake uses 9 backyard chicken eggs! Talk about real food. You CAN eat cake for breakfast!

It’s the final day of the market and we plan to sell out! Come and share a high five as we make our exit!

I love when folks contact me for special orders. Tonight I’m baking banana pumpkin bread, freezing some ready-to-bake blackberry scones, mixing my fresh herb sundried tomato bread and concocting Kombucha-based cherry shrub syrup for a weekend women’s gathering! All in a night’s work! See y’all on Saturday!
