The money in our bank account came from the job we have that we are able to perform because there is breath in our lungs. God is our source, whether we recognize Him as such or not.

When you give the tithe first it activates your faith to have God provide for the rest of your needs.

The one and only place in Scripture where we are given permission, more like an encouraged invitation, to test God is in the area of our tithe. He promises us that if we tithe He will throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out blessing until it overflows. He’s inviting us to encounter Him through His promise of overflow as we engage Him in our tithing.

Family we are gettin together IN PERSON! Join us for worship at Harry Griffen Park’s amphitheater (9550 Milden St. La Mesa). There’s natural seating but feel free to BYOC (bring your own chair). We will be social distancing our seating with households sitting together. Face masks will be required at all times when social distancing is not possible.

Too often we view the tithe as a benchmark or a goal to reach and once we’ve reached it then we’re done with giving. Tithing is simply the launching pad to generosity.

We are participating in ONE DAY TO FEED THE WORLD again this year. The challenge is for you to sacrificially give the equivalent of one days wage to Convoy of Hope so they can feed hungry children throughout the world. Consider yourself challenged.
