Every year at Crinetics, we take a company photo, a moment in time when we are all together (with our pups). This year, of course, we’ve spent much of the spring apart, but we wanted to show that now more than ever we’re still together, working for our patients every day.
Support Groups vs Self Help Groups - Navigate the difference
In Faces of Acromegaly, courtesy of Acromegaly Community, 23 people living with acromegaly share their before and after photos and share some insight on living with the Acromegaly: from symptoms to treatment, to messages of hope.

Cushing’s disease results from a pituitary tumor that oversecretes the hormone ACTH, which in turn causes over-secretion of cortisol. Cortisol is the body’s main stress hormone. The effects of having too much cortisol include getting excess fat deposits in the collarbone, back of neck, face, and trunk, excessive sweating, thinning of the skin, muscle weakness, extra hair growth, depression/anxiety, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, high blood sugar, and heart disease. Untreated, it can lead to an early death.

It’s a great thing when our work brings us to Philadelphia to support this wonderful organization, CHI Congenital Hyperinsulinism International at their annual Sugar Soiree benefit. Generous donations from this event allow CHI to continue to raise awareness to increase timely diagnosis, provide educational opportunities, support HI families and help them access the care they need, and support research. It really is the #SweetestCause
Crinetics showing our support for Acromegaly Awareness Day Big thanks to Jill Sisco, President of Acromegaly Community for joining us!
