The Hughson Police Service is looking to identifying subjects regarding a jewelry theft that occurred on February 4, 2021 at approximately 12:30 P.M., at Joyeria Flores jewelry and check cashing store at 6801 Hughson Ave. The suspect in the photo was wearing an iridescent rainbow style backpack and was suspected in leaving on a motorcycle towards S. Santa Fe Avenue. The Modesto Police Department is looking to identify this subject who is suspected of robbery at gun point at the Chevron Gas station located on 3037 Sisk Rd., Modesto. He wore a black hoodie with blue and red writing on the front, black belt, black and gray face mask, and black pants. He also wore a black bag over his shoulder with multi-colored writing on the bottom. The suspect and his accomplice drove a newer charcoal gray Jeep Cherokee. The City of Hughson has had a spurt in vehicle burglaries in the last week in the Sterling Glenn, Rhapsody and Walnut Haven Area. Video surveillance revealed a White or Hispanic Male Adult, 5 foot 7inches, 150 lbs, medium built, light complexion and always wearing black or dark clothing. Video surveillance shows that he has tattoos on his right arm and neck area. Soderquist. Gutierrez-Ponce fled the scene on foot and TPD is actively attempting to locate him. Stanislaus Area Crime Stoppers 24.06.2020

Arrests made on hit and run that occurred on September 1, 2020 at 8th and L Street in Downtown Modesto leaving the victim, 42-year-old Patrick McHaley of Modest...o with fatal injuries. MPD featured the suspected vehicle from this incident in our #whosthatwednesday post this week. An alert citizen spotted the vehicle in the college area on Thursday afternoon and followed the vehicle to a residence in the Enslen area, then notified the police. MPD’s Traffic Officers responded to the residence and were able to verify it was the vehicle involved in the collision. During the investigation officers contacted the suspected driver of the truck, 67-year-old Paul Muratore. He was arrested and charged for vehicular homicide, felony hit-and-run, felon in possession of a firearm, drug charges and for a warrant. Also arrested as a result of this investigation was 61-year-old Lori Jardine. She was charged with aiding and abetting following the commission of a felony. Traffic Investigator Raduechel is still searching for the driver of a silver 2006-2010 Dodge Charger. This driver observed the collision and followed Muratore as he fled the scene based on video surveillance MPD obtained. Investigator Raduechel has this reminder for everyone As we enter the fall and winter months and the days get shorter please ensure your headlights and other vehicle lighting systems are in proper operating order. Replace your wiper blades in preparation for the rainy weather. These simple steps will help you see better during the darkness hours and protect you and others from being involved in a tragic incident like this one and please, do not leave the scene of an accident such as this. MPD’s Traffic Unit is looking for the driver of this vehicle after it was involved in a fatal hit and run collision on Tuesday evening at 8th and L Street. The adult male pedestrian was crossing northbound on L Street in the crosswalk when he was struck by the truck pictured in this post as the driver of this truck was traveling westbound on L Street. The truck appears to be an older (1994-2004) dark green Chevy S-10 or GMC Jimmy pick-up with a tinted back window and an alum...inum diamond plate cross tool box. The truck should have significant damage to the front right side. The victim’s name is not being released at this time.
