What a wild week it has been for weather on the Central Coast! We went sweltering heat a few days ago to cool fog this morning. We are thankful for a break from the heat! Temperature control is essential for meeting the needs of many different dog breeds. Here are some of the ways we keep our furry friends safe in the heat: All day relaxation in one of our 22 play yards - all of which are real grass, artifical grass, or concrete - for plenty of fresh air. ... Ample shade in every yard provided by awnings or portable shade covers. Fresh water topped off frequently to promote hydration. Complementary pools for our water lovers - also freshened frequently. Night time kennels that allow for a constant flow of fresh air. Employees that are trained to spot early signs of heat related illnesses and take action. In the colder months, we offer heated floors in our open air kennels as well as complementary cuddle mats and cozy fleece lined jackets to snuggle with at night. And, of course, lots of human cuddles! These measures ensure that all breeds, small or large, can stay comfortable during their stay at Creekside!

The gentlest match of tug-of-war you've EVER seen! Daisy and Rhodie are always ready for any opportunity to fetch a toy and share it with the pack. Aren't they just the sweetest? And those puppy dog eyes!

"It's about to get western 'round here tonight..." Our handyman, Mike, created these incredible old-time western signs for us! Aren't they amazing?!
