Successful trash cleanup in Coffey Park! Ella picked up 355 pieces of trash!

Successful socially distant neighborhood trash cleanup here in Guerneville/Armstrong Valley with Jo and Sage! Thank you, Stephanie Lennox and The Village Charter School for encouraging us to love and take care of our Mother!

What a wonderful time wandering the neighborhood making it a better place... about 5 pounds picked up and that's with tons of small pieces! Feeling the spirit of VCS cleaning up together and grateful for that... here we are and let's see you!

We've done our Trash Count and Hunt, we've seen the issues (lots of small trash for sure!) and are excited to cleanup tomorrow with yall!!!

THIS SATURDAY APRIL 18TH 2020... we will continue the legacy of VCS caring for the Earth!

One of our tenets of Village Charter School is the Environment and so instead of doing a job-a-thon or selling Sees candy (which I love) we have our families clean the local creek. Our kids are asking to be sponsored per minute or pound or a flat rate. This year more than ever our creeks need our help! Please support VCS in any way you can with this school fundraiser! In the past four years we've cleaned up over 800 pounds! This will be our 5th annual Creek-Clean-a-Thon.
