M Street and G Street Bridge Repairs Project - Construction Begins April 3rd. The project is expected to take about 7 months, from April to Mid-August at the ...Veteran’s M Street Bridge, and from Mid-August to October at the G Street Bridge. When work is complete at Veteran’s M Street, work will begin on the G Street Bridge. The bike path at both bridges will be closed during construction for safety, detours will be provided. We will post updates on the construction status and any potential detours when the information becomes available.
