Has of today, CMETS will no longer accept payments for the Nurse Assistant Training Program or the Home Health Aide Program. You will be expected to pay the entire amount prior to orientation. However, you can make payments until the day of orientation, at which time, the balance must be paid in full.
On behalf of my cousin, Wenonah Valentine, who is the Founder and ED of iDream, I am posting this invite in hopes it reaches the people who are interested Black maternal health.

Attention all CNAs and HHAs...CMETS is back from hiatus. We will be holding CEU classes starting this month. They are in person. FYI, we moved. The new location is inside the Filipino Community Center at 629 Pearl Street in Monterey. Parking is on the street. If you go across the bridge, there is free parking by the cemetery and Dennis the Menace Park. But if you wish to join via online, please let us know in advance by texting 831-207-6764. That way we will be sure to send you a link for the program we use. Hope to see you soon!
ATTENTION ALL Licensed Nurses, CNAs and NAs: If you are interested in going to work IMMEDIATELY, please text me at 831-207-6764.
Due to extenuating circumstances, CMETS will not be holding any CEU classes this month. Look for us next month. We will ring in the new year, 2021, with a new look. Be on the lookout!
Unfortunately CMETS has over extended itself and therefore we will not have any CEUs this month. Look for us to be back next month.
Wanna be a RNA?
The calendar for CNA CEUs for September has been posted. www.cmetsolutions.com
Attention HHAs in the 831: There is a new home health and hospice in the area and they are looking for HHAs. If you are interested call Ameneh at 831-690-5224 or Cisco at 831-229-7772.
Thank you CNAs.
To all my nurse friends especially new students.
Food for thought for LVNs. I was on webinar earlier this week with nurse educators from NorCal. I learned that some acute care hospitals in NorCal who had stopped hiring LVNs are now hiring them again. Perhaps this practice will change here on the Monterey peninsula.
ATTENTION ALL SPANISH SPEAKING HHAs: If you are in the market to work as one, now is the time to get on board. Please TEXT me at 831-207-6764 and I will provide further info.
The CEU calendar for August has been posted. www.cmetsolutions.com FYI, they will be in person...but only 10 people, so sign up asap.
831 COMMUNITY NEWS: CMETS will be returning to the classroom to deliver CEUs. However...due to COVID-19, I think it is best if we limit the number of people to 10 in order to provide social distancing. Therefore the first 10 people to sign up (text me at 831-207-6764) will be able to attend. I am asking if you sign up, please attend otherwise some else could have attended. Everyone will be required to wear a mask (so BYOM), even me. And we will have protocol at the entrance just like all healthcare facilities->sign-in, questions, temperature reading, etc.
831 Community News: For anyone interested in a Med Tech position either noc shift or on-call, please text me at 831-207-6764. P.S., the facility will train you.
We are half way in the process of allowing nursing students to return to clinicals in SNFs. We now need the approval of Monterey County Health Department. I am keeping my fingers crossed that NATPs can resume sometime this month.
I just have to put it out there. I miss my classroom setting for CEUs. I so miss that contact. I'm a junkie and I feed off my CNAs! However, I am thankful I have many CNAs on my FB pages. It helps me to know what you are doing and stay active in your lives. COVID has caused me/CMETS to resort to an online delivery system which is not everyone's forte...and I understand that. Just know I think of all the CNAs who have passed through my front door, texted, emailed or called me. My thoughts are with you as you continue to work that frontline and care for people not only during their twilight years or medical "crisis" but through this pandemic. May we come back together in the future.
To all CNAs, this is your week. Thank you for being who you are and for doing what you do...especially for the elderly whether they live at home or in a SNF. The care you provide makes a world of difference.
