Hi Fellow Hapas! I write for a website called Mixed Nation (www.mixednation.com). It’s all about embracing diversity and most importantly, mixed individuals. I ...would like to write an article that features images of mixed race individuals, like yourself. You would be holding a hand-written piece of paper saying why you love being mixed race, in one sentence. Beneath it I would include your first name, where you live and your mixed race heritage. Mine would be: Trish, Baltimore, MD Caucasian/Korean I would LOVE for any of you to be part of this article, but only if you want to. I'm trying to get as many submissions as I can by the end of this week, Friday, Feb. 14, to put into a Mixed Nation article. If you would like to participate please email me a photo of yourself holding your sentence, and write your personal info (name, location, mix) in the body of the email message. My email is [email protected]. And please feel free to share this request with other mixed individuals you know. The more submissions I get, the better! Just remember that your image will appear on the Mixed Nation website, which gets millions of page views, so only share if you’re not camera shy. Thanks so much! Hey everyone, I was hoping you could help out some awesome Asian guys I know with the Awesome Asian Bad Guys project. As a Asian American fan of film, I find myself often frustrated with how Asian characters, especially awesome Asian bad guys like these have such a small and/or brief rolls in movies. Which is why, I am supporting this project. I mean, just look at the title! You know it's going to be awesome, and have some Asians as leads. So please support whatever you can.... Check it out.
