We are super excited to announce our newly inducted member of the ESC Executive Board! Meet Felipe Salinas Hernandez, your 2020-2021 Treasurer! Hello everyone! My name is Felipe Salinas Hernandez, I am currently in my 5th and final year studying Civil Engineering with an emphasis in the Geospatial Option. Over my time at Cal Poly Pomona, I worked at Cesar E. Chavez Center for Higher Education and I have been involved with Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. During my free time, I like to go hiking, traveling, and hanging out with my friends. I’m looking forward to working with all the engineering clubs this year!

ESC is celebrating Pretty Pet Week with a pet photo competition open to all engineering students who have a pet of whom they’d like to showcase and share! We’ll be putting together a tournament-style bracket of contestants and then be holding voting rounds through polls on our story. Entries are due midnight on Friday, October 23, and they can be submitted through the LINK IN OUR BIO. Tournament rounds will take place the following week. My name is Emi and I’m looking forward to leading you all through this virtual year as president of ESC! I’m in my last year as an ME; I’m also a CoE Student Ambassador and the Communications Coordinator for our national organization’s regional leadership team. When I’m not busy with school and ESC (which is rare), I’m reading mystery novels, dancing, painting, and hanging out with my cat I’m looking forward to a great year with all of our amazing clubs and students!
