From the 80s to an Out of this World Voyage, the CPP Foundation's Annual Hot Dog Caper has a unique theme every year. The theme is incorporated into the t-shirt design, entertainment, giveaway prizes and so much more. Today, we are featuring the themes from 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Although the 37th Annual Hot Dog Caper (initially scheduled for 10/8/2020) has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all week long, we will be posting throwback pictures of the event throughout the years. About the Hot Dog Caper: The Hot Dog Caper is just one of the many ways the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation and campus partners give back to the university. The Foundation’s annual event brings together students, faculty and staff to enjoy free hot dogs, popsicles, drinks, live entertainment and more.

Start your morning off right! Jones Coffee Roasters (located inside of Centerpointe Dining Commons in the Lollicup area) is the go-to place on campus for all of your caffeine needs. From coffee to tea to blended drinks, Jones Coffee has you covered! - At this time, Jones is open for in-store orders and pickup orders via the Grubhub mobile app. Please note that only TWO customers can enter Jones Coffee at a time. A socially distanced line will be formed outside if the area reaches max capacity. Also, a face-covering must be worn at all times, and all customers must maintain AT LEAST a 6-foot distance from others. - Jones Coffee accepts Bronco Bucks and Meal Points and is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

This week's highlight of Cal Poly Pomona dining locations that are open is Innovation Brew Works (IBW)! Innovation Brew Works (located at Innovation Village/across the street from University Village) is an award-winning restaurant that serves handcrafted pizzas made-to-order, appetizers, sandwiches and craft sodas. For those over 21, IBW offers a variety of beers brewed on-site that contain Cal Poly Pomona barley grown at Spadra Ranch, an off-campus plot of land used by the... College of Agriculture near Pomona Boulevard and Temple Avenue. Currently, IBW is open for outdoor patio dining and curbside pickup. To place an order, download the Grubhub app or call at 909-979-6197. - Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, there have been a few changes at IBW. At this time, Innovation Brew Works requires a face-covering at all times except when eating or drinking, and all customers must maintain AT LEAST a 6-foot distance from others. In addition, if you are enjoying an alcoholic beverage on-site, all alcohol purchases must be accompanied with a meal purchase. - IBW accepts Bronco Bucks and Meal Points and is open Sunday-Wednesday from 11:00 AM-7:00 PM & Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 AM-8:00 PM. This week, we are highlighting Vista Market as a part of our dining locations that are currently open feature. Vista Market (located at the Residential Suites) is our on-campus mini market that serves fresh to-go bowls, wraps, salads, sandwiches and everyday grocery items. Vista is the place to grab ingredients to make your own meal or grab an already prepared meal! - Due to the Fall 2020 semester being a virtual experience, there have been a few changes. At this time..., only EIGHT customers can shop inside of Vista Market at a time. A socially distanced line will be formed outside if the market reaches max capacity. Also, a face-covering must be worn at all times when shopping, and all customers must maintain AT LEAST a 6-foot distance from others. Remember: Vista Market accepts Bronco Bucks, Meal Points and Meal Swipes. - Vista Market is open 7 days a week from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM. See more

They’ve got 5 different delicious pizza options (including a vegan option) for you to choose from AND you get your choice of drink. - Although they are currently closed for dine-in, you can place a pickup order by visiting the Centerpointe page on Campus Grubhub.

Centerpointe Dining Commons and the Essential Market will be temporarily closed from Saturday, May 16 through Monday, May 25 to retool for the Summer 2020 session. Innovation Brew Works will remain open for food service. Thank you for your understanding.

As a service to the community, Centerpointe Dining Commons has opened a public market with food staples, toiletries, cleaning supplies and more! The market is open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and is located in the Lollicup area of Centerpointe (Building 72). SHOP Centerpointe is open for walk-ins and is available for pick-up orders through Grubhub. Standard Grubhub rates may apply. Some items have a limit per customer.

At this time, Centerpointe Dining Commons, Innovation Brew Works and Centerpointe are allowing mobile pickup and delivery through Campus Grubhub. While we do encourage the campus community to order via Campus Grubhub, Centerpointe and Vista Market locations are accepting to-go orders. Dine-in spaces are closed.
