Were you a fan of Speed Friending Extravaganza last quarter? You're in luck because it's that time of the quarter again! Come be apart of the Cal Poly community and meet other Cal Poly students via Zoom. The festivities will begin at 7 p.m. so join using your Cal Poly email and get excited!

Come join the Connections Cohort at this fun activity! And, as a sneak peak, there will be a presentation about Mike Wazowski and if he blinks or winks!

The third annual Student-Employer Diversity Mixer, held in conjunction with the Winter Career Fair, is scheduled on Tuesday, January 19th from 5:00-6:30 via Zoom. This event is in support of students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds by providing an opportunity to connect with employers about their background, experiences moving up the career ladder/navigating employment, and to learn more about their current company’s culture and ways in which their organization ...support/promotes diversity. In creating an initial contact with an employer, the hope is that students will continue the conversation during the career fair (subsequent day) and to build a relationship with the employer either as a mentor or a resource for future opportunities within their organization. The event will be hosted by Career Services, Student Academic Services and by Student Diversity & Belonging. Students may register for the event via Handshake. #calpoly #calpolyorientation

As we all welcomed the New Year, Connections Cohort welcomed two more recruits: Nan and Tess. They are excited to meet you all!

Come out and meet some new students by listening to your favorite tunes from the 80s to now in an intense game of guess that song! Invite your friends, and prove who’s the top tune master on Tuesday, Jan 12 at 7pm. See you all there!
