Councilmembers George S. Brietigam and Phat Bui attend the annual promotion of Liên oan Chi Lng Girl Scout and Boy Scout of America. We are honored to represent the City of Garden Grove celebrating the promotion to Gold rank of Michelle Nguyen and Julia Truong, and to the Eagel rank of Ethan Vien and Winston Nguyen. So thrill to see Michelle Nguyen - my friend's daughter has grown up to be a Gold Girl Scout, and a future Neurologist.

Winter Grove, at Village Green, City of Garden Grove, just started... still young coming out and enjoy. The Tree Lightning will be about 7pm.

Running into Debora at last month GGNA Annual meeting, I grabbed her book, very informative. A must have book on Coyotes for Councilmembers and those who care. Thank you Debora for your research and dedication to publish them.

We were thrilled to have the honor being invited to particpate in the HANBOK fashion show - Korean traditional custom with some 20 Korean models and K-Pop stars from Seoul. Huge turn out on grand opening night of Steel Craft Garden Grove, by Euclid and Garden Grove Blvd and next to City Hall. A great success that will bring great gourmet foods and joys to residents and revenues to the City. Even have live music and ping pong tables in the dining area.

Love the burger, icecream and beers, will come back to try other gourmet specialty dishes like special fries with bacon pieces and sunny side up opla, and tacos. My prays for the victims and closed ones. Our hearts sank with senseless losts and our minds overwhelm. This is not just a robbery/homicide that went terribky bad. It is very clear that its rooted in hatreds which our nation has seen so much more. It concern me that in the past few weeks, there have been an upticks on violent crimes , one involve domestic dispute, the other twos are robbery and drugs related. Last Tuesday, I had requested a meeting with our Chief, City M...gr and Mayor Jones, to identify the root cause and proactive join efforts with other federal/state agencies. GGPD has done a good job in responding quickly and effectively ending further losses. We want to find other resources and venues to proactively prevent it from happening. I also want an early warning system to alert the public asap, when major crime/domestic terror is happening so people can be on alert. Hopefully it might be able to share a life or more. 18th Annual, Garden Grove, Scout, Pushcart Derby. Awesome event this year with girls able to race for the very first time. Historic as little Emily became the... first ever female Champion representing the Bear ranks and younger. Huston took the Championship for the older Webelo's and then the overall Championship. Thank you Geoff and Jen Tackney and all the volunteers involved, for keeping this Westgrove tradition alive for our youth. See more
