Celebrate diversity! The Cosumnes CSD’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee hosted a compelling presentation from Wilton Rancheria's Executive Director, Dahlton Brown, and Tribal Chair Jesus Tarango. During this presentation, the committee learned about the history of the Miwok people and the California tribes' historical timeline. Today's meeting was held in recognition of Indigenous Peoples' Day. We want to extend thanks to Wilton Rancheria and its commitment to community benefits. Cosumnes CSD is excited about what the future holds.
