The passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a profound loss. Her contributions to the advancement of our country as a whole are shining aspects of an incredible, illustrious career. Her achievements for women’s empowerment in our society has and will have impacted every future generation of Americans, by showing us the importance of striving for equality, no matter how long it may take to achieve. To be a woman in the legal or political industries is to have b...een impacted by Justice Ginsburg, who helped pave the way towards equal rights by truly walking the walk. To have held her seat in the Supreme Court of the United States with such wisdom, passion, and poise until her passing shows her commitment, tenacity, and incredible fortitude. We stand in reverence with our community mourning the loss of Justice Ginsburg. Her legacy will be carried onward by generations of grateful individuals who share equal rights and who might one day see the nine woman justices that Ruth Bader Ginsburg pictured for us. CLF Attorney Spotlight - Lori J. Costanzo Last, and certainly not least, is CLF's Supervising Attorney and Founder Lori Costanzo! Lori started Costanzo Law Firm, APC in 2011 after practicing law in the Bay Area for over 30 years. Her firm currently engages in general civil litigation with an emphasis in employment law. Ms. Costanzo routinely represents employees in all industries, including high tech companies regarding all areas of employment, including federal and state an...tidiscrimination statutes, executive compensation, severance agreements, disability discrimination including failure to engage and/or accommodate an employee, employment agreements, employment policies and procedures, employee investigations, retaliation of all kinds, Equal Pay Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and Older Workers’ Benefits Protection Act. Having practiced 15 years of insurance defense litigation Ms. Costanzo brings a unique perspective to her firm experienced in managing a successful defense practice where she developed invaluable trial skills. Ms. Costanzo has been a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association- Women Lawyer’s Executive Committee since 2010, has Co-Chaired WLS and has Co-chaired the annual Lean-In Conference from 2014 to the present; she is also a member of the Labor and Employment Executive Committee, and ADR Executive Committee. Ms. Costanzo was appointed to the Commission on Equal Access and Employment Opportunity for Satan Clara County. Ms. Costanzo has also devoted time to the Santa Clara County Bar Association’s Board of Trustees, the SCCBA Executive Committee, and for the court’s small claims, traffic court, and settlement conferences. CLF Attorney Spotlight - Adriana C. Moore Ms. Moore is a practicing civil attorney and certified mediator with over 20 years of experience in litigation, identifying, evaluating and resolving conflict for individuals, private companies and small businesses. Her broad range of litigation and negotiation experience in business, corporate, real estate, construction, employment and family matters have resulted in her successfully assessing and resolving a variety of claims and d...isputes. Ms. Moore started her legal career at Littler, later becoming managing partner of her law firm McCloskey, Hubbard, Ebert & Moore, LLP. She is active in various organizations in the Bay Area, served on several Boards and provides volunteer services for several Courts and non-profits. Ms. Moore has worked with prominent firms in the Bay Area, and was the founding partner of two general practice firms. She credits her ability to successfully work with a broad range of cases and temperaments to her having experience as a Judge Pro Tem and her training with Peacemakers. She is a skilled communicator helping parties navigate through complex issues while facilitating productive and respectful communications. She provides insightful and creative resolution strategies unique to each situation with successful results. Ms. Moore received her B.A., with honors, from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas. Ms. Moore is fluent in Spanish.

Today we begin to spotlight our attorneys! Starting with our Associate Attorney, Chelsea Hill! Ms. Hill is a graduate from Santa Clara University School of Law. She earned her B.S. in Entomology a semester early from Purdue University and was the recipient of the Austin Frishman Scholarship. While in law school, Ms. Hill developed an interest and appreciation for mediation. She was a mediator for the Small Claims Court, handing cases through resolution. In addition, Ms. Hill ...interned with a retired court commissioner and assisted him in numerous mediations. Ms. Hill was a Student Associate for the Entrepreneurs' Law Clinic and had the opportunity to help small startups grow their businesses. She was also a mentor for Women in Law while at Santa Clara University and is a member of the Santa Clara Bar Association and Civil Practice Committee at the SCCBA, as well as the Barristers and Women Lawyers sections. While studying for the bar exam, Ms. Hill began painting in her spare time and continues to enjoy it as a hobby. Additionally, she enjoys going for walks and spending time with her family.

CLF Employee Spotlight - Jeremy Dvorak Jeremy graduated from Montana State University: Billings in 2018 with a B.S. in Public Relations and began working at CLF shortly after. He has spearheaded our firm’s intake process and has brought in over 300 clients since he started in 2018. Jeremy is currently studying to become a Certified Paralegal through NALA (National Association of Legal Assistants) and is a volleyball coach at Morgan Hill Volleyball Club. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys hiking, playing video games, and record shopping.
CLF Employee Spotlight - Heather G. Fuchs Heather G. Fuchs is a graduate from Santa Clara University School of Law. While in law school, she traveled to Europe to study international and human rights law and to Tokyo to participate in mock international business negotiations. She also served as President for Women and Law, was a member of the International Human Rights Clinic, and clerked for US Magistrate Judge Allison Clare in the Eastern District of California. Heather is a musician (piano, guitar, and clarinet) and enjoys spending her spare time writing, attending story slams, or cooking big Italian feasts for family and friends.
