As we continue looking at the Gospel according to Mark we see the question of unclean spirits threatened by Christ, "have you come to destroy us?" Jesus responds with his actions in saving the human being held in slavery. This is the kind of much needed destruction we need still today. The destruction of that which holds us captive to fear. Join us for this conversation on Mark. Also join us for our Sabbath afternoon study on Daniel 2 with Nic & Karen Johnson at 2:00pm on Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81375068603) Meeting ID: 813 7506 8603 Passcode: DANIEL

As a nation we transition powers, as a people, we transition careers, relationships, and more. As communities, we must constantly be willing to change and grow, and as believers, we must be willing to learn in much the same way. In all the change, in all the transitions, we stand firm in this: that Christ is our one and only Messiah, and following Him above all and anyone else is our goal and reward. Join us as we explore the call of the disciples in the gospel according to Mark and share in the necessity to "Repent & Believe" as we grow and learn together.

Happy Reformation Day! October 31, 1517, Martin Luther, a German monk nailed his Ninety-five Theses on the door of the All Saints' Church in Wittenberg. This document was distributed and the spark of the Protestant Reformation spread as the desire for a merciful savior grew into a movement. Bibles were translated into the common language, religious systems no longer stood between humans and God, and salvation no longer cost the purchase of an indulgence. As we remember the m...ovements of the followers of Christ, may we always be willing to change and grow as the Holy Spirit guides and equips us to go. From Pentecost to the Reformation, to the church today we profess the name of Christ and strive to follow His leading. Join us in-person or online as we celebrate Reformation Day together tomorrow, October 31, as a church family starting with Sabbath School at 10am.

The feeling of being rejected, the recognition of why rejection happens is the feeling that permeates the parable of Matthew 21. Yet, what if in the acceptance of being rejected instead of rebellion there is a call to stay even more committed to the purpose and goal we have been given. Join us as we explore Matthew 21 and the Cornerstone being rejected as a means and product of salvation as Christ uses parables to share the reality himseldf and his disciples will experience. #church #happysabbath #LIVE #YouTube #inperson
