**NEW THIS YEAR** at the California Arts Council: individual artist fellowships (deadline to apply: April 1, 2021, by 11:59 PM PST) The Fresno Arts Council will... be premiering a special social media campaign and online toolkit here (and on our website at https://fresnoartscouncil.org) starting March 8th to encourage you to apply for these fellowship opportunities. DETAILS OF THE FELLOWSHIPS The Individual Artist Fellowships will support artists, 18 years of age and older, at key moments in their careers, elevating their capacity for continued contribution to the field and our state. The grant identifies three career tiers at which artists may benefit from this support: #1 CAC Emerging Artist Fellows $5,000 per award (approximately 70 artists to be supported) Artists with between two and four years of artistic practice. Just announced! Help the Fresno Arts Council kick-off April 2021, National Poetry Month, with the appointment of the *NEW* City of Fresno Poet Laureate for 2021...-2023! Public nominations accepted until Friday, February 26, 2021. All nominations will be reviewed in March 2021. The form is available for print/download via Dropbox (link in the post).
