Closing my final sale of the year today, I wanted to take a moment to look back at 2020. If anyone tells you they predicted what would happen with real estate through the pandemic, they’re lying. While so many people struggled, it didn’t feel right to draw attention to each sale on social media, but as the year draws to a close, I can’t help but reflect on this rollercoaster of a year. . . . From the crazy hot market at the beginning of the year, to terrified clients in escr...ow as the stay at home orders were instated, and then the catapult back to a hot Sellers market, this year is obviously one we will never forget. . . . But behind each sale is a story. A story of a family who found love after loss, a story of a family blessed with the chance to move to their dream home, stories of my own family members starting their families in homes they can call their own, and best of all my own grandparents FINALLY moving back to San Diego. There are hard stories too; selling homes after loss, the gut wrenching bidding wars, and so much unknown. Then there were the families where working from home gave them the opportunity to move back to San Diego and families who decided to cash out on investments that will set them up for life. . . . No matter the story, I am humbled and grateful to play a small part in each of my clients’ lives. Every call, text, shared laugh, and shared tear makes my job so fulfilling. Thank you to everyone who has trusted me to be a part of their story. I hope 2021 brings rest to those working so hard, hope to those struggling, and health to our world when we need it most. I will be the first to admit that I am horrible at being consistent with social media. I am so lucky to get to spend my days with clients who make me love my job seeing homes from the very entry level price point up to multi millions. But I always find myself so focused on giving my clients undivided attention that I forget to be good about documenting my days on social media. BUT I couldn’t let this one pass by without sharing it with you! . . . You may recognize these ph...otos from my last Instagram post (a month ago ) and you may remember my story about how I was excited to get to sell this bungalow that my sweet clients/friends purchased 7 years ago. . . . Well fast forward... we listed the home at $500,000 because that’s what the comps supported. The first weekend we were listed we received 6 offers. The top offer was $565,000 with others not far behind. BUT all of our offers were VA, which has an appraisal contingency. I warned my clients that even though the Buyer said he would bridge the gap on a low appraisal, they should be prepared for a speed bump. Lo and behold, the house appraised, and this week we closed escrow! . . . I am over the moon for my Sellers and cannot wait to watch them on their next journey! See more

Two of my August sales were off-market properties! This one is 5276 Adams Ave. When my clients decided they wanted to sell it, we gave the Tenants the first shot at it. They knew they wanted to become homeowners, but were nervous! After a couple of weeks of thinking on it, they decided to jump in head ...first and quickly closed on this beautiful 3 bed, 1 bath with a pool in Talmadge . From my family to yours, I hope you had a safe and happy 4th of July! Instead of the usual parade, backyard bbq hopping on bikes, and fireworks, we stayed put and cooked a feast with our quaranteam.
