Attention youth!! Came across something that sounds like it coukld be fun. Check it out and let me know what you think. If anyone is interested we can see about making it happen. Activities and Contests "Cardboard Boat Challenge... Last year’s Fiesta Day Cardboard Boat Challenge was such a success that the Fiesta Day Committee is making it a Fiesta Day Annual Tradition. The exciting boat race will take place during Fiesta Day on May 24, at Sunset Beach, just before the Fiesta Day Ski Show. Bedeck your cardboard yacht to fit this year’s Fiesta Around the World theme. Let your imagination take you to far off places when shaping your design. Only two (2) materials are acceptable for the build; corrugated cardboard and colored duct tape. The cardboard boats must have sides of 10 inches or taller. Participants may compete as a single rogue captain, or, navigate their cardboard cruiser through the race course with a crew of scallywags to take to the paddling. Represent your business, club, organization, or neighborhood posse, by displaying your colors and dressing in costume as you compete for prizes."
