So thankful for the ability to connect virtually last night as a church community with CTX to remember what Christ did for us on Good Friday. As we continue to reflect today during Holy Saturday, we are excited to come together again tomorrow to CELEBRATE His resurrection! Join us for our Easter Worship Service & Prayer tomorrow at 10am via Zoom livestream. If you haven't received the links yet, please contact us via [email protected] and we will send it to you!

Hi Church Family! Hoping and praying all is well with you and your family during this unusual time in our world. I know things seem a bit out of place, and our regular lives will be impacted for the unknown future. Schools are closed, people may be working from home, and we are practicing social distancing. But even in times such as this, I remain confident that our MIGHTY SAVIOR is near and at work! While we are not meeting together for worship, it does NOT mean that God... and its church are dead. If fact, we are given this opportunity, in times where things seem dim, to be a light and to glorify His name. Proximity may separate us, but nothing can separate us from the LOVE of GOD. And so, during this time, while we are not meeting, we believe it is crucial for the body to continue to be connected and meet. For more information regarding upcoming sermons, please visit our church website at https://www.cornerstonetrinity.org/. Let's not waste this time while we are away from one another. Let us take up the call as followers of Christ, to be in prayer and worship God now more than ever! To hear His call and purpose for the church during this difficult time! Where is God leading us church? Be on the lookout also for future communication and updates from us on how we all can stay connected to each other and to God! If anyone of you or anyone you know, experiences hardship and sickness during this time, feel free to share with the leadership so we can pray for and look for ways to assist and help! May God bless and bring peace to you and your family! We miss you! Pastor Clifton

Dear Congregation, I keep you in my prayers. When we did not meet this past Sunday at our campuses, my day felt a lot different, and I am sure that many of you felt the same way. I am also sure that while we are not able to meet, I am also confident of Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 4:1718 (ESV) : 17For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, 18as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that a...re unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. I wanted to keep you updated regarding some measures that we have implemented going forward: If you have symptoms of COVID-19, please contact your primary care physician. It is better to be safe as seasonal flu has also been on the rise. Also, if you receive a positive diagnosis of COVID-19, public health agencies will automatically be contacted, and CTBC will cooperate if we are contacted to discover potential exposure. We will do our best to handle this information discreetly. However, please also keep in mind that our concern is for our corporate health as well, and we will communicate with the congregation any necessary information if there has been possible exposure. Similarly, there is no shame or stigma for any diagnosis. These things are simply out of our control. Let us also remember that in times past, including in the Roman Empire, Christians were known for ministering the best to the sick and marginalized. When we resume services, and you feel sick, please self quarantine and consult with your physician as needed. We continue to emphasize the necessary precautions of washing your hands, avoiding touching your face, coughing and sneezing into your arm, using tissue and discarding it. At Teresita Campus, we have purchased and installed hand sanitizer stations in the Fellowship Hall, Children’s Hall, and the foyer in front of the sanctuary. At Teresita campus, when we resume worship services, we will not be passing the tithing baskets around. The ushers will receive tithing and offerings after worship. For Teresita campus, when we resume worship services, we will also not be passing communion plates. We will invite those who take it to come to the plates. We have also ordered individually wrapped wafers and cups. Our Pastoral Staff, Board of Elders, and Directors will be meeting again to discuss further emergency protocols as recommended by the CDC. For next week’s messages, we also plan on making those available via various internet platforms. We will keep you informed. Sincerely, Rev. Kevin Wong

On Behalf of Reverend Kevin Wong: Dear Congregation, "I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him." - Eph 3:16-17 (ESV)... I write to you out of a spirit of care and concern. May God’s spirit of peace be with you. As you may have heard earlier this week, Cornerstone Trinity has been monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19 and its spread in the Bay Area. We have been advising our church members to remember the safe practices of washing hands, remaining home when sick, and covering coughs and sneezes. In light of the city of San Francisco Public Health Department’s recommendation to cancel non-essential community gatherings for two weeks, and in light of the information we have regarding the spread of COVID-19, the Pastors, Board of Elders and Directors have made a collective decision to cancel all church events (fellowships, Sunday school classes, worship services, ministry gatherings, etc.) at Cornerstone Trinity campuses beginning tomorrow, Sunday March 8th through Sunday, March 15th. We decided this to protect our congregation, our surrounding vulnerable populations, and our loved ones. We also value being good citizens and want to model care for our neighbor not only within our church but to society at large. More information will follow regarding access to sermons, various ministries meetings and logistics, and future decisions. If you have any questions or concerns, you can reach us at (415) 566-5756 or by email at [email protected]. We will continue to pray for our society and those affected by COVID-19. Finally, we appreciate your patience and care and look forward to our time together in the future. Reverend Kevin Wong

CTBC x CTX Adult Conference! What a blessing to have this weekend retreat and learn about what it means to pursue a life of love that reflects forgiveness, faithfulness and kindness...not because we expect anything in return but because it is what God has shown to each of us unconditionally. #PursuingGodsHeart
