I hope everyone is doing well as we head into the holiday season. I wanted to let everyone know that I have been working diligently on forming the first denovo bank in California since 2008 and as on 11/18/15 the Department of Business Oversight approved our application subject to certain standard conditions. The name of our proposed bank is Core Commercial Bank and we will be headquartered in Newport Beach. We sent out a press release on 11/23/15 and have gotten some pretty positive feedback thus far.
