Conventual Franciscan Novitiate

We have an artist in our midst! Our brother Jonathan used his creative talents to create a stone carving of the Seraphic Christ to help us celebrate our founder St. Francis. Deus meus et omnia! --- ¡Tenemos un artista entre nosotros! Nuestro hermano Jonathan usó su talento creativo para crear una talla de piedra del Cristo Seráfico para ayudarnos a celebrar a nuestro fundador San Francisco. Deus meus et omnia!

This past week we celebrated our brother Michael's birthday. We would like to thank Alberto who provided our delicious barbecue dinner. It was a joyous day of celebration with much laughter and fraternity! Here's to another year of blessings! --- La semana pasada celebramos el cumpleaños de nuestro hermano Michael. Queremos agradecer a Alberto quien proveo nuestra deliciosa cena. ¡Fue un día de celebración alegre con mucha risa y fraternidad! ¡Por otro año lleno de bendiciones!

Thank you to Helen for a wonderful tour! It was great to learn more about the cultural heritage of the Dana Adobe. It certainly sparked our curiosity and we're hoping to show good stewardship towards the natural resources as volunteers.
