Contra Costa County Health Services Department has an excellent career opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Agency located in Martinez, CA. The RN would be responsible for the coordination, evaluation, and improvement of prehospital clinical care and Specialty Systems of Care, including the county’s Stroke, STEMI, Trauma, Cardiac Arrest, and EMS for Children programs. . Additionally, the position requires knowledge of EMS sys...tems, Policy and Treatment Guideline development, an understanding of Quality Improvement (QI) activities, and familiarity with data evaluation and analysis, communications, and public education. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following: -Professional clinical experience as an ED or Trauma RN -Professional experience as an EMS RN or prior professional experience as a 911 Paramedic or EMT -Data driven approach and experience in developing and evaluating quality and performance improvement programs and initiatives -Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects, programs, and deadlines effectively.
