Meet the Artists of CCCT's Reading Stage production of SEVEN! Jessica Lim will read the role of Mu Sochua (Cambodia). Jessica Lim is a San Francisco-based actor and native. Her recent work was a Zoom reading of Man of God (Shotgun Players) where she played Samantha. She has a B.A. in Theatre Arts with a performance emphasis from San Diego State. During this quarantine she has been spending a lot of time at home trying to stay creative. She recently launched her first Etsy shop where she sells Handmade earrings! She is super excited to get back to performing and is honored to be working with CCCT!

Susanne Hobbs Reed will read the role of Hafsat Abiola (Nigeria) Susanne is excited to end her brief 15-year hiatus from formal theater with this amazing reading of Seven. Previous favorite productions include Working: A Musical, A Little Night Music, The Colored Museum, Little Shop of Horrors, and Marisol by José Rivera. Susanne is able to channel her theater spirit in her daily work in education. BA, UC Santa Cruz, Politics. MFA, Theater, Sarah Lawrence College. #blacklivesmatter

Meet the Artists of CCCT's Reading Stage production of SEVEN! Marjan Safa will read the role of Muhktar Mai (Pakistan) Marjan is thrilled to make her debut with Contra Costa Civic Theatre with Seven. Currently she has returned to Multi Ethnic Theatre to rehearse for her upcoming show, 20th Century America which consists of three short plays. She has previously worked with TheatreFirst, Golden Thread Productions, San Francisco Playhouse, Palo Alto Players and San Francisco Playwrights' Center. She continues to study acting with Richard Seyd, ACT and Berkeley Repertory. She likes to read, bake, walk and dip her toes in water in her spare time.

Leticia Duarte will read the role of Anabella De Leon (Guatemala) Leticia Duarte (they/them/theirs) is known for their theatrical work across the Bay, in Los Angeles and as far as Scotland where they had the opportunity to perform in The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. (Dogs of War & Plastic Rose)... Their most recent works include Helen with Theatre of Yugen, Lear! with Theatre Rhino, King of Cuba and Into The Beautiful North at Central Works, Real Women Have Curves at DMT, Brooklyn Bridge at Town Hall Theatre and Measure for Measure at Theatre of Others. Duarte performs in classical to musical theatre as well as dozens of commercials, industrials and voice-overs. Duarte studied acting with Shakespeare & Co, ACT Summer Conservatory and SITI Company. Meet the Artists of CCCT's Reading Stage production of SEVEN! Susan McConkey will read the role of Inez McCormack (Northern Ireland) Susan McConkey is the Chief Administrative Officer at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF), where she oversees the Information Technology, Facilities and Operations, Security, and Retail departments of the museums. Prior to FAMSF, she was Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music SFCM, where she... led the highly successful implementation of the SFCM’s strategic plan. The technical foundation for Susan’s career was at Tandem Computers (later Compaq, then Hewlett Packard), where she held senior positions in business-critical software development. In 2005, she joined the San Francisco Opera as their first Chief Information Officer, where she led the modernization of systems and business processes. Prior to joining SFCM in 2015, Susan spent two years as a Client Principal at ThoughtWorks Inc., a boutique software consulting firm. A native of Belfast, Northern Ireland, and a proud resident of San Francisco, Susan has been an avid supporter of the arts in San Francisco and the Bay Area. She just concluded more than four years of service on the San Francisco Civic Center Community Benefit Board, and is a former Board President at Opera Parallèle. See more

Maria Mikheyenko will read the role of Marina Pisklakova-Parker (Russia) Maria Mikheyenko is thrilled to collaborate again with Contra Costa Civic Theatre after playing Mother in their 2018 production of Ragtime. Recent roles include: Mother in A Christmas Story (Berkeley Playhouse), Miss Casewell in The Mousetrap (Ross Valley Players), Jenny Lind in Barnum (23 Elephants Theatre), Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street (Paci...fic Coast Repertory Theatre), Mrs. Cratchit in Scrooge In Love! (42nd Street Moon). Other Bay Area credits: Billy Elliot, My Fair Lady, Chicago, City of Angels, A Little Night Music. Maria is a voiceover artist and composer for Detroit Puppet Theatre, and a member of Curated Entertainment, custom-created live and virtual entertainment for corporate and private events. See more

Meet the Artists of CCCT's Reading Stage production of SEVEN Ahou Yasmine will read the role of Farida Azizi (Afghanistan) Ahou Yasmine is a performer and writer based in Los Angeles. She is honored to take part in the Contra Costa Civic Theatre’s online production of Seven with a remarkable cast of truly courageous, true-to-life women. Credits include Ziba in Call Me Mehdi, Soledad O'Brien in Compression of a Casualty, Sevgi in The Cry of the Reed, and Sheida in A Moment of ...Silence with Golden Thread Theatre, Phebe in As You Like It with Subterranean Shakespeare, and more. With a varied performance career, Ahou is also a singer with the Los Angeles-based vocal arts ensemble Artes Vocales, where she is a frequent soloist.
