A couple of days ago, I started to read about optimizing a web page. I have to admit, it's quite addicting. There's a lot to learn. I taught myself how to create web pages and now that I understand some of the code, I can now begin to improve it. As of today, the site is not optimized. However, the few hours of reading and thought processing, I am ready to start working with keywords and key phrase density. I also enrolled in a Coursera class (free if you ask for financial a...id). This one is offered by UC Davis and you get a certificate if completed. The class (optimize a webpage) is one of 6 classes included in their SEO offering. Have you ever felt frustrated when adding a cover photo to your facebook profile? I know I have. Images get distorted or it's not positioned correctly. You can use a photo editor to adjust your image if necessary. Here is what I came up with: Cover photo tips - step 1) googled facebook cover photo size 2) started with an image large enough 3) opened the image with a photo editor 4) FB recommends 820 X 312 pixels so I sized down my image (keeping proportions) the closest to t...hat number which turned out to be 820 X 539 5) now I size down my canvas to 312 removing dead space (if possible). 6) save original and new copy just in case you need to restart. #coverphototips #notanexpert
