Conquest Miniatures

Whew! I finally managed to get caught up on all of the 'surprise' orders I had, and I fixed the shipping problem I was having. So the last of the orders went out today, apologies for the delay, but it was thanks to a canceled order that I was even made aware that I had any orders at all! All of the orders that have been placed in the last couple months were all 'free shipping', as my web building skills are sub par, and I assumed that no orders could be placed until I figur...ed it out. Well, I was wrong and several orders were placed over a 2 month period, without my site notifying me. But it is all taken care of. I'm not going to bother trying to track down folks for shipping fees. Consider it an early Black Friday deal ;-) I also included a Christmas Warrior in each order. So paint him up and set him up with your Holiday decorations, or some such. I still have a few codes to add to the site and some photos I have to find so that you can see what things look like, but it's all mostly there. Still no word on when or if I'll have new releases anytime soon. I haven't had much time to spend on Conquest related things, but I do hope to move the company forward. We'll see what happens. Well, here I am once again apologizing for the delay in finishing the website. Lots of things going on not Conquest related. I have most of the codes up on the site but I was unable to figure out how to set up the shipping on orders. Recently I received an email asking to cancel an order, and I thought, "What order?" Turns out that even without the shipping options finalized folks were still able to place orders. I was unaware of this and have discovered that I have several o...rders in the queue! I normally get a notification when I get an order too but I don't have the eric@ email set up yet so the site can't inform me. Man I need a site builder! I'll be looking at the site tomorrow to figure out how to set up the shipping when an order is placed. I'll also pack the orders that were placed and then send a paypal request for shipping on those orders, or, if needed I will refund any orders if you've been waiting to long. It's good thing Indians played zero part in the French and Indian war...

Aargh! Ok, my sincerest apologies folks. I had the new site completely finished, most of the pictures were on there (I was missing a few but figured I'd find them later). All I had to do was add the inventory quantities, so that one would know if something was in stock etc. I made the site go live last night and discovered that my web address (conquestminiatures(dot)com) was no longer the default address, rather it showed as some longer name ending in /myonlinestore. When I ...inquired about it, I was told that that was the new address I had to have in order to use their new and improved online store. "Hell no!" I exclaimed. "My customers have bookmarked my old address. I paid for my domain name. Ads feature my domain name. Hundreds of blogs, websites and magazines feature my domain name. It must have my domain name as the address." "I'm sorry, that's the address it has to have." So I cancelled the website and demanded my old one back. After going back and forth, I had to bite the bullet and pay up. It cost me a little extra in the end, however, the old web builder that I had was so much better than the new garbage I was working with. There were many problems I ran into with the new and I wasn't happy with it the whole time I worked on it. I think once I discovered the web address problem, it was the final straw and I admit I abused that poor online chat customer service guy. (Sorry Chris T. for taking it out on you.) So with that said, I am reworking the site again. I have found the original template I used for the site before it went down so it should appear more or less the same as before. I found all of my images of accessories like the dogs and weapon sprues, so those will be available for purchase and I'm hoping to add new images to lots of the codes that will feature painted miniatures instead of the white washed ones (though that may come a bit later as I just need to get the site up quickly) So again, I apologize for the long delay. Please remember I'm a one man army with a full time job and a family. My website building time is limited at best and it's even harder for me because computer stuff comes very hard for me to understand. I will be spending pretty much the whole day today working on it. Just a heads up folks. There may be a day or two down time on the site in the next couple of days. My site renewal is up and I don't want to pay the $1500 that I'm being quoted for 2 year renewal. So one of the options is to start a new site as that's the only way for them to give me 50% off for 2 years (according to them of course.) I'm trying to get them to just give me the darn discount but if I have to spend a day or two to re-add all of my inventory, that's better than... paying an extra $750! I like GoDaddy, but I do not like they're lame renewal price. -Eric

Thanks to everyone who placed an order during my Black Friday sale. I have mailed off several of the orders and have most of the others packed. Still got about 15 more to pack up and mail off. I should have them all out by Monday, Dec 9th. I did notice a few people didn't get the shipping discount on their invoices, if they qualified, so I will fix that and reimburse those. I also forgot to include the free Xmas mini in a few orders. I think I corrected all but a couple. I blame all the apple pie for the few errors i had ;-)
