If you saw my stories earlier on @connieandkenny, you’d see that I have back-to-back-to-back holiday events this week (which gives me all kinds of feelings, but mainly feelings of , especially as an introvert). I’m often asked about small talk what I call little spurts of engagement. They’re my moments when I can connect with someone just by being in their presence. Small talk gives people a lot of dread, and I don't blame them. In my perspective, that small... talk those fleeting moments are the only chance I get to connect with a real friend during this time, maybe even all year. So I take full advantage of it. In these kinds of circumstances, I never brush off small talk.
