Two of Concordia's members have passed away this week. One has served churches in our area in many ways, elder, chairman of the congregation, but did more things behind the scenes helping people out, especially pastors and seminarians than most will ever know. The second, anyone who ever stepped into our office at the church knew. A lady with a great stable faith, who put more voluntary hours in than some people work in a lifetime. And again, she helped more people behind th...e scenes than anyone would ever know. (and every pastor that has come to a pastor's gathering at our church weighs a couple pounds more because of her cooking!) I am incredibly grateful for both and feel deeply their loss to the Church, to my congregation, and to my family and me. Both of their services will be in the future. But if you have stories about how Tony or Wanda blessed you - I am collecting them for their families. Please pray for the families, and for one other family, who has a loved one in ICU as well.
