Check out the amazing work done by @nethracingworks on this @toyotausa GR Supra for @tapgmotorsports! The roll cage, fuel cell can and safety equipment were designed and fabricated by Bob Neth with materials purchased at @competitivemetals. It's always a pleasure to be part of such a unique project where dedication to esthetics as well as the all-important elements of safety and function are showcased. This car is competing in the @drivenasa Western Endurance Championship.

Pro tip #4 tube notching! This tip is great for duplicating tubes or mirroring tube notches. This example shows one side of the chassis tubes already notched. To mirror the tube for the other side draw a silver line using an angle or straight edge. This will ensure perfect rotation on the notch. Using a competitive metals pad of paper lined up with the silver line tape the sheet down and lightly sand the edge of the paper until it hits the notch. Slide it directly down the line to the other side and do the same. To mirror the tube to the other side simply cut your tube to the same length flip the competitive metals paper inside out mark your notch and cut! This is great for those complicated notches. #metalart #fabrication #chassis #4130 #racecar #welding #competitivemetals

Huge congratulations to @ryanbeat51 on a 3rd place overall finish of the @lucasoiloffroad season in his first year in Pro 2! Glad we could be apart of your program!

Check out these awesome Ranch style gates @mcmaster_iron_co and team built! Started the build off with our 2x4x1/4 for the frame in order to create a bold and pronounced look that would pair well with the oversized columns, they then went with a beautiful redwood tongue and groove select wood planks, finishing it off with some Powdercoat to tie it all in! Envision all the possibilities!

The ideal candidates will be dependable, have a strong work ethic, be seeking long-term employment, take personal p...ride in their work, and have a positive attitude. Description of Job Responsibilities: The warehouse customer service team is responsible for being able to locate the materials ordered, safely pull and load the material into our customer's vehicles, and have excellent customer service skills to build rapport and relationships with our customers. You will assist with stocking material, learn how to use the equipment on-site to cut material, and learn how to properly package the materials for shipping, delivery, or on-site load ups. Additional responsibilities include: Understand and follow proper tagging processes Communicating with the sales department about customer orders Perform material stock checks Communicating with the purchasing department about order deliveries and inventory needs Stocking racks with inventory Interacting with and assisting our customers with any questions they have Cut material as needed using a bandsaw, auto-saw, shear, or iron worker Practice and follow proper safety rules and procedures Keeping the warehouse clean and organized Keeping the employee restroom and locker room clean and organized Additional warehouse projects as needed Experience Required: Prior warehouse experience Ability to read a tape measure What you need to succeed in this role: A positive attitude Must be reliable we need to be able to depend on you Hardworking with a great work ethic Courteous and professional Effective and detailed communicator Understand basic math, fractions, and decimals Ability to work independently and safely Strives to do their best and the best for their company Position Details: This position is Full-Time: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with occasional Saturdays 8am - 12pm (we are currently closed on Saturdays) Competitive Metals offers health benefits, a 401(k) plan, employee discounts, a competitive base pay, performance raises, performance bonuses, paid vacation time, paid sick leave, and paid holidays.
