It’s starting to look like spring around the farm. Happy Tuesday everyone!

We have apples, broccoli, carrots, celery, kale, collards, chard, mustard greens, and more for sale at our awesome Sunday farm stand. @oside.peoples.kitchen will be there selling their sourdough bread too. Now offering @oside.peoples.kitchen brick oven sourdough as an add on to your CSA subscription. Oside People’s Kitchen is a collective of helpers making bread to support their breakfasts for the people program. All proceeds from bread sales go to funding this program. Did you know that Rue is a host plant for the Giant Swallowtail butterfly! Earlier in the season we saw the butterfly laying eggs, and now we found two caterpillars! It’s a good day!

There are options in Food, Nutrition and Health, Food Security and Sustainability and many more! Just look at these beautiful, red bell peppers! And those leeks! These were harvested, cleaned, and delivered to the farm by Cat from the Encinitas Unified School District Farm Lab! With school not in session, these vegetables are going into our weekly, free produce distribution boxes this week. This is community love and community farming. --------- ¡Mira estos hermosos pimientos rojos! ¡Y esos puerros! Estos fueron cosechados, limpiados y entregados a la granja por Cat desde Farm Lab en Encinitas!
