Meet our friend Matthew from Goa, India. A few months ago, he came across an add online for The Book of Mormon. Seeking for peace, he followed the link and started to read the book. Since then he and his family have experienced an immense increase in strength, peace and joy through reading the Book of Mormon and learning about the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Christ's Atonement changes lives. In Ether 12:27 we read, "And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them." Matthew was changed through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. How will you let Christ change you?

Alma 34: 32 "For behold this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God, yea behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors." In our lives we can prepare to meet God in many different ways. Including serving others, strengthening our faith in God, and loving how Jesus would. How will you prepare to meet God?

The sun rising in the morning is the beginning of a new day. It's the light that breaks through the darkness and allows us to see. Jesus Christ is the light in our lives that keeps us going. Because of Him we have hope. Because of Him we are free from bondage. Because of Him we don't have to suffer alone through the pains of life. When life seems too dark and dreary to walk through, trust that Christ's light will guide you home. "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." 1 John 1:7

President Russell M. Nelson has asked us to create a home that is a place of security. Having a place of security spiritually prepares us for the future. "Simply said, a place of security is anywhere you can feel the presence of the Holy Ghost and be guided by Him.15 When the Holy Ghost is with you, you can teach truth, even when it runs counter to prevailing opinions. And you can ponder sincere questions about the gospel in an environment of revelation." How will you make your home a place of security this week?

Thomas S Monson once said "May we ever choose the harder right instead of the easier wrong." We all have the agency to choose right from wrong. Sometimes it may seem harder to do the right things, but those hard moments are what builds us into a stronger, happier and loving person. How have you seen hard things help you grow?

How do you come unto Christ?

When I see the open sky, I think of freedom. I love that God gives us freedom and agency to make our own choices and to do good! I'm grateful for the choices I make that help me grow closer to the Savior Jesus Christ. "Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness." D&C 58:27 What choices do you make to come closer to the Savior?
