I can hardly believe it is only a bit over a week till Christmas. Time slips by while we are all sheltered and staying safe. However the Boutique is OPEN. We have a new shipment of the popular soaps, and of course Tea always makes for a special gift or stocking stuffer. We are also taking Tea Orders on the Website and Gift certificates as well. Usually we can mail on the same day ordered.

Columbia Kate's Teahouse is now rolled into the Bakery, we moved things to be able to accommodate and create the items on the Teahouse menu. You can still order the Teahouse sandwiches and Salads and Bread Pudding and Pear Pie! and the rest! We hope you will do that. We tried for a week to keep the Teahouse open and it is just not sustainable. The Bakery will remain open till 3:30 daily. Call 209-532-2177 to order

Saturday is Halloween! Sadly the Trick of 2020 is that we don't get to celebrate all our holidays in the usual way. However tomorrow, Saturday we have a TREAT for you at Kate's boutique. Craving some of our Chicken salad Sandwich? The Teahouse is Open again today after two days of Power Shutdown by PG&E. Hope to see you, the weather is certainly cooler, which is nice. (under 90 today) But there is smoke around. Inside dining is available but more limited. Call ahead. You may also order to go!

Columbia Kate's is open this Labor Day weekend. We do have limited inside dining and our Garden of course. We're all getting through this, hopefully, last big heat of the summer. The hottest part of the day is not till after 3 and we are open till 4, but if there is no business after 3, we may choose to close earlier, so do call if you plan to come late afternoon. We have also been alerted that PGE may do a power shut-down starting Monday night, thru Wed, so if that does happen, we will be closed Tues the 8th and Wed the 9th. call ahead. 209-532-1885. I can't remember a stretch of heat like this before, but with mandated outside dining and not being able to offer our cool dining room, we have decided to close early (2:30 pm)Tuesday the 18th and Wed the 19th. Accuweather indicates Thursday may be under 100, so hopefully that will be nice. Please call ahead so as not to be disappointed. Come early to enjoy lunch in our shady garden.
