Rest in Pen to a legend. Someone who supported Colored Ink in its embryo stage. Ntozake Shange We are forever grateful to wisdom and love you had for our group. May God now grant you eternal rest in his presence#forcoloredgirls

It happened again. God called me to assemble a group of artists to speak to an audience that deals with and has been impacted by Domestic Violence. I had on stage a ballerina now turned poet, a poet/visual artists, an educator author poet and then me. I told them how powerful they each are separately but when they come together it’s like creating an energy grid. Let’s just say the crowd ran out of Kleenex from our performance and I heard these whispers say CI CI CI! I want... to believe those were angels cheering on our group during the Ntozake Shange For Colored Girls/Colored Boys tribute we did in the beginning. It Looks like God won’t let me give up my first love, my theater group @coloredinksf has officially started a new chapter Hidden Bruises. Our next stop will be Rooftop High School for teenage mothers. Go where the pain is and that’s where you will find your healing! #ci4life See more
