Journalism students practice flying drones over L.A.C.C.

Student Housing Action Coalition is collecting toiletry donations for City College’s homeless student population. SHAC donation boxes are in buildings around campus. Toiletry items that are needed include: toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, washcloths, deodorant, sanitary wipes, sanitary pads/tampons, anti-bacterial wipes, hand sanitizer, lotion, sunscreen, face wipes, baby wipes, bathroom tissue, shampoo/conditioner, new underwear, socks, bra, rubbing alcohol/antiseptic, Band-...aids, zip-loc plastic bags, warm blankets. Donations will be made available to those in need at the SHAC Pantry Box located in the Genderversity and Multicultural Center in Suite C of the Administration Building, and the ASG Resource Center located in the Student Union Building. VAMA's Artist Lecture Series presents multidisciplinary artist and educator Jimena Sarno. Sarno's work has been displayed in The Museum of Latin American Art and the Grand Central Art Center, and is influenced by her experiences as an immigrant to the U.S. When: Wednesday, Oct. 30 @ 6 p.m. Where: Chem 3 Lecture Hall in the Chemistry Building Basement....
