We’ve all experienced that situation: sitting at a desk, feeling lost as we try to learn something new. Try asking questions. Even in a distanced classroom, your teachers are still there to help you. Engage with them! Ask questions in their live sessions and utilize hours they set aside for individual meetings and emails. Make it your goal to truly learn in this season, not just get by. If you need a selfish reason to engage, remember (if you’re in high school): these are the people who will be writing your letters of recommendation for your college applications. Give them something great to say.
"The California Community Colleges system announced Tuesday that it has received the largest ever gift to such institutions in the nation $100 million to help more students complete degrees, transfer to universities and support their basic living expenses." https://hubs.ly/H0yqP8_0
Let’s be honest here. Your scores on the SAT and ACT say absolutely nothing about your value as a student, as a learner, or as a person. For 21 years, we’ve been repeating this same mantra: What you do with your time is more important than a number. That’s why, when we help our students prepare for college admission testing, we teach more than testing skills. We encourage our students to grow as students. Join us for our ACT/SAT classes that combine individualized attention w...ith academic skills that will help you in the classroom, not just for four hours on a random Saturday. 21 hours of online instruction 5 private tutoring sessions Includes all class materials and one test simulation Limit 10 students per class https://hubs.ly/H0ylVN_0 See more
