Roadrunners, as a reminder, the College is offering free Wi-Fi access for students to use in the following designated campus parking lot locations: Palm Deser...t campus, Parking Lot 28, from 7:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., seven days a week. Indio campus from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., Monday Thursday Palm Springs temporary campus from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., Monday Thursday Please note that special guidelines will need to be followed, in order to use the College’s Wi-Fi at designated locations. Guidelines Masks are required to be worn at all times while on campus Wi-Fi use is allowed for currently registered students only MyCOD credentials are necessary for Wi-Fi access Social distancing must be observed at all times Only students in standard passenger vehicles will be allowed on campus; no walk-ins, bicycles or recreational vehicles will be allowed Students may not have passengers who are not from their immediate household, and shall not have more than four persons in the vehicle Students and passengers must stay inside their vehicle, as no trash bins or restrooms will be provided Students must park in stalls marked for Wi-Fi Access Spaces are available on a first-come / first-serve basis Once all stalls are filled, students will be asked to return later or directed to an alternate location Students may be limited to Wi-Fi use of one hour per vehicle during peak-demand times Violations of any of these guidelines may result in the student being requested to leave the area. #CollegeoftheDesert #CreateTomorrow #CODCOVID19 #StudentSuccess

New information from College of the Desert's page: New Canvas Password Reset Option Students who have set up their password recovery can use Office 365 to reset their Canvas password. ... Go to the Canvas login. From there they enter their mycod.us email and click next. If you do not remember your password and have previously set up your password recovery, you can click the "Forgot my password" link and follow the instructions to reset your password. Those who have not set up password recovery can send an email to [email protected]. Students should provide their username, student ID number and a phone number where they can be reached. A College of the Desert staff member will call to verify the student’s identity before resetting their password. Staff are processing password reset requests throughout the weekend; however, due to the volume of requests received, there may be a delay in your request. We appreciate your patience with this.
