Hey everyone, looks like travel restrictions and Tahoe rental bans are starting to ease up this month. If anyone is interested in renting Cold Creek Chalet for Memorial Day Weekend, I can offer return guests 3 nights at $995 including all cleaning fees and taxes. That's about half what it normally rents out for on holiday weekends. And you have the security of being the first guests to use the place in over a month due to quarantine restrictions. If you're reading this post, you've most likely visited Cold Creek Chalet. It's a tough time for everyone so I wanted to communicate a few things I'm doing as an Airbnb host. 1) I'm making my place available to healthcare workers or other first responders who might need a place to stay in South Lake Tahoe. I've read that many healthcare workers are scared to go home after hospital shifts fearful that they may infect family members. 2) I've instructed my housecleaners to tak...e extra time to ensure that the house is extensively cleaned and disinfected between guests. 3. When bookings do recover, I'm pledging 5% of my revenue for the rest of the year toward nokidhungry.org. It's not much but I appreciate how fortunate I've been to own a home in beautiful South Lake Tahoe and hope to be back there soon.
