The Tweed family would like to extend our deepest appreciation to all of you who have worked, volunteered, advised, participated in our events, attended our eve...nts and supported our efforts to improve the Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds. We couldn’t possibly list all of you who have contributed to and befriended us. You all will always be in our hearts. The Coarsegold community could not have been more supportive of all of our efforts. Our family has made a decision to leave California. This would include selling all of our assets including the rodeo grounds and the Broken Bit. Although we have not completed our goals to upgrade both properties, we believe the timing is right to make our move out of state. We will sincerely miss all of our mountain friends. It is with sadness and deep regret the 2020 PRCA Coarsegold Stampede Pro Rodeo is cancelled. Clearly these events require long term planning, participant coordination and financing. With the uncertainty of any future outdoor events in California allowing fan attendance, it is impossible to provide an event and venue such as this. We again thank all of our loyal sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and guests for their continued support of our rodeos and the Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds. Although frustrations are abundant today, we will always support the greatest county in the world. Happy Independence Day!!

Br...andon at Eco Strike Pest Control could not have been more helpful when we were panicking about meat bees at the rodeo grounds prior to our last Stampede. He was there at a moments notice and solved all of our pest problems prior to the guests arriving for the rodeo. Chris and Ryan of Walt Bannon Drilling Inc. not only solves our water issues, but made a special trip to the rodeo grounds on a weekend with 2 drilling rigs to do a run through raising our large American flag for the upcoming rodeo.
