Congrats to our very own Regan Greenhill, who won Outstanding Mentor of the Year at the CREATE Awards Banquet! Oakmont HS, the school she mentored, won Best Presentation (After School Program)! Our high school intern this year, Kevin, won the Student Leadership Award for Granite Bay HS. And our high school intern from last year, Emma, won a scholarship for college! Last week, CREATE mentor Regan Greenhill visited high school students signed up for the CREATE Summer Academya 6-day camp 5-night camp that introduced them to careers in construction, re-development, engineering, architecture and the trades. Regan talked not only about being a mentor in the Create Mentoring Program today, but how going through the CREATE program herself (back when it was the ACE Mentor Program) really helped shape her decision to get into architecture. We call that a successful program!
