Dr. Seuss Days are some of our favorite days at CMCS Preschool. We had a very special visitor cook our Green Eggs & Ham! Coach Linda came to visit ALL THE WAY FROM TEXAS! The kids absolutely loved seeing her again and we have missed having her around. We had so much fun eating our Green Eggs & Ham, fishing for red fish and blue fish, painting Horton and just being silly little THINGS! We are ready for Day 2!

We finished out our Spirit Week strong on Friday with MISMATCH DAY!! We had some wonky, wacky, mismatched kiddos!!

Today, we dressed like our favorite animals (real and imaginary)! Take a look at all of Calvary Preschool's cute critters!!

We had a #wackywednesday with all these crazy hair-do's!! Spirit Week is in full-effect. Tomorrow, we will be mis-matching our clothes. Let's see who can get the most uncoordinated outfit put together!!

Come one, come all! Join us this Halloween for a free outdoor movie night on the softball field. There will be food trucks, dessert booths, a costume contest and CANDY!!

Calvary Murrieta has always been an advocate for ending human trafficking. This year, due to Covid, A21 is unable to host their annual Walk for Freedom, so instead, they are hosting a Global Broadcast to rally, inspire, and equip you to fight human trafficking in our community. Join in on October 17- There are various ways to attend and participate in this virtual event, and there is an in-person, drive-in option at Akash, a local Temecula Winery. Join us for our Family Movie Night on Saturday, October 31st! You are invited to bring a blanket or chairs out to our baseball field & enjoy a fun night! There will be food trucks, dessert booths, a costume contest & candy! We will be showing Toy Story 4 and we hope to see you there

In honor of #FirePreventionWeek2020, Firefighter JT came to talk with the kids about fire safety, emergencies and "stop, drop & roll". We love our first responders, but are especially thankful for our firefighters that are working so hard to put out the wildfires this season. Thank you Firefighter JT! We had so much fun stopping, dropping and rolling!!

The first 5 weeks of preschool have been a whirlwind...but oh so fun! We have been diving into fall fun and learning all about the leaves changing colors, apples and the farm.

Today we took the time to pray specifically for our first responders and military and talked to the kids about what happened 19 years ago today and how, even though bad things happen, God is in control. Joshua 1:9 tell us Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. We taught the children that all you have to do is ask Jesus to come live in your heart and He will never leave you. You can call on ...him whenever something bad happens. Parents, your children are such a gift. They are soaking up God’s word, hiding it in their hearts and asking the hard questions. We are so thankful that you entrust your children to us every day. We love teaching them about Jesus and watching them grow in Him. No matter what, we know that GOD is in control and He is working ALL THINGS out for good for those of us that love Him. Tomorrow is the 19th anniversary of 9/11. In honor of the first responders and Americans that lost their lives that tragic day, our preschool will be wearing red, white and blue and saying a special prayer in chapel for our first responders. Make sure to send your sweet kiddos in their patriotic gear! #GodBlessAmerica
