Glendora Alliance Church 05.04.2021

This Sunday, 2/21/21, Glendora Alliance Church returns to in-persons services at 9:00am and 10:45am! Due to a lack of available teachers, there will be no Jr. Church during the 9:00am service but Dave Rogstad’s adult Sunday school class will resume at the same time as the first service. We will have both streaming on Facebook and YouTube and in-person Sunday School for elementary school kids on down during the 10:45am service.... Please come prepared to observe social distancing for the protection of all. We look forward to being together in-person again!

In this week's Elementary Sunday School lesson, Jesus once taught that we should go the extra mile. That means we can be kinder than we have to be. We can choose to be kind and do something for someone because they’re made in the image of God. We can show them that they’re valuable to Godand they’re valuable to us, too! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ps2pgajX68

In this week's Preschool Sunday School lesson, Zoe is making a sandcastle in the Clubhouse, and she wants to build a moat. But, she’s feeling kind of frustrated doing it all by herself. She needs help. Carrie tells us a true story from the Bible of Jesus walking into the city where he met a centurion. The centurion knew He needed Jesus’ help for his friend. Jesus was doing important work but that didn’t stop Him from helping. Jesus loves us very much. Who loves you? Jesus loves you! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXPNjfSkBoY

In this week's Elementary Sunday School lesson, Ruth had been through a very tough time; her husband, brother-in-law, and father-in-law had all passed away. But instead of returning to her homeland, Ruth decided to stay and take care of her mother-in-law, Naomi. The two women returned to Naomi’s hometown of Bethlehem, where they experienced even more kindness from a man named Boaz. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fm9TszNXkWU
