Our first virtual meeting on March 17th was smooth sailing, starting with the well-organized Toastmaster of the Day Stacey, followed by Irish-themed Table Topics run by Cathy. We listened to the reassuring message by the always-perfect and camera-ready Joelle, evaluated by Bijaya. Even Ralph, our General Evaluator, was happy with the meeting. Pam was voted the Best Table Topics Speaker proving that you can do it even when joining the meeting from your car. The speech contests for Areas C4/C5 and for Division C are being postponed due to closure of the Simi Valley Senior Center. More information will follow about w...hen and how these contests will be held. It is likely that they will be held online via Zoom since Toastmasters International issued an exception allowing areas and divisions to hold online contests this year. More information will follow.
