We held our 1st School of Management HALLOWLYMPICS Virtual Game Night. About three dozen participants - students, alumni, faculty, adjunct professors, and staff - had great fun competing in three rounds of Halloween-themed competitions. With very few exemptions, all participants dressed up in costumes or wore masks. Special thanks go to Jennifer Valladares, Kristin Bell, Susan Wood, and Diana Fielding for organizing this fun evening!

Recently, we welcomed our new fall cohort of our Executive MBA (EMBA) program. These exceptional students come from diverse industries ranging from aviation to aerospace and pharmaceuticals and from well known companies such as Amgen, Clay Lacy Aviation, Kite Pharma, Landscape Development, Northrop Grumman, Skyworks, or Takeda. Meet Jennifer Valladares, Administrative Assistant for our undergraduate programs. Jennifer joined Cal Lutheran in 2018 and supports all our undergraduate faculty members and our almost 600 undergraduate students. Prior to Cal Lutheran, Jennifer had over 10 years of experience in administrative roles at Cal State Northridge, Loyola Marymount University, and California Institute of Technology. Jennifer also spent years as a Claims Representative for the Social Security Admini...stration and worked on claims related to US immigration and visas. Then, she became the Office Services Supervisor for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where she provided administrative support and managed all matters pertaining to budget, travel, payroll, employee training programs, and web development. She improved quality service for employees by conducting surveys and implementing new procedures. Jennifer has also been a claimant rep for Medicare at HealthNet before joining the Cal Lutheran community. Jennifer attended Cal State University Northridge and graduated with a degree in Journalism, and received her master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis in Human resources and Organizational Theory shortly after. #clusom #staff #callutheran http://ow.ly/d0pu50BZiGl
