As a point of clarification, ALL students (Clovis Connect and Hybrid) will follow the Clovis Connect second semester bell schedule beginning January 5, 2021 until at least January 19th. This will allow for a smoother transition to students returning to campus when we are given clearance to do so by the Fresno County Department of Public Health. Thank you - we apologize for the confusion.
Hello Wolfpack families, please read the important message below providing an update to the Semester 2 CUSD Return to School Plan. ---- December 31 guidance from Fresno County Department of Public Health prompts modification to Clovis Unified’s post-Winter Break plans. As we have undertaken a phased return of students for in-person instruction over the past several months, we have relied on guidance from local and state officials to inform our decision-making every step of t...he way. We continue to work in close partnership with the Fresno County Department of Public Health. As a result, following the governor’s announcement Dec. 30 for his proposed safe return to schools and today’s new guidance from local health officials that Fresno County schools should delay for two weeks the addition of any new in-person instruction, the below plan is in place for in-person instruction immediately following Winter Break. Any student who was already attending in-person instruction for any reason prior to Winter Breaks, will continue to do so. Any student who was scheduled to phase into in-person instruction (grades TK-12) after January 4, will continue with on-line learning (under any teacher or grade 7-12 schedule changes in place for the start of the second semester) until at least January 19 pending additional guidance from public health officials. Please don't forget to submit the return to school parent survey e-mailed to families last Friday. It is extremely important that we know what format of instruction your family would like to receive for the second semester of school. If you have completed the survey but would like to change what you chose you may still do so tonight and tomorrow. Thank you!
Our administrative team would like to give our students the opportunity to ask any questions they have about returning to school! We will be offering a LIVE webinar for students to ask questions and have them answered LIVE. Please go to: tinyurl.com/REClive tomorrow at lunch!
Just a reminder... TONIGHT members of our administration will be holding a LIVE webinar to all our families to ask questions regarding our return to campus plans and the parent survey that was e-mailed last Friday. It begins at 5:30 p.m. at: tinyurl.com/REClive
