This round deck construction has at least three types of curves. Tapered 26’s form the radial path going through the deck. Curved 26’s cut from 212’s make up the bench and step. Finally, laminates made up of three 1/2x7 1/2 boards were glued and clamped to forms to create the arbor and deck fascia. Watch the time lapse video of it on our Clough Construction home page. This aspen tree tells a story! Black bears are expert climbers, seeking safety and food resources high in the treetops. In spring, adults emerging from hibernat...ion and young cubs often scramble up aspens to gobble down nutritious catkins (spikes of wind-pollinated flowers). A word to the wise: Just because bears do it doesn't make it cool. Carving initials into trees in the park is tacky, disrespectful, and a federal crime. Why not try picking up litter for your special someone? That's a lot less trashy
